n contact printing, the master film (or negative) is pressed against the raw stock; this combination is exposed to light on the master film side. In optical printing, the master film is projected through a lens to expose the raw stock. In continuous printing, the master film and the raw stock both run continuously.

Frosted glass film is an easy to apply window film that provides privacy by giving glass the appearance of acid-etched or sand blasted glazing – preventing vision from both sides of the window

There is no ink or printing involved. Frosted films are nothing but large-sized stickers that get pasted on a transparent sheet of glass. The glass panel loses its transparency and acquires a smoked effect wherever the film gets pasted.
